Fashion no nos.. No more!

As a spinoff from FFFC, @LJUTCMommy and my confessions got me thinking.. What other "fashion rules" have I said I'd never break and have totally done so this past year with no regrets?

In addition to my mom jeans confession, I also wore sweats and clogs together last night to Target.

fashion? What is that? I just don't care anymore. Once I lose some of this weight and can fit back into my clothes it will be better. I refuse to buy all new clothing. So I have like 1 outfit

This morning I totally went to the grocery store in lounge pant and my Ugg slippers. And apparently with my nursing bra unhooked, something I just now realized when I sat down to nurse DD.

I did the whole same shade of denim on denim ::face palm:: But I was cold and my jean jacket was all I had in my car. LO even spit up on the sleeve and I had no idea until I came home.

*LO was not with me either so that spit up was there for a while. Yum.

I wear work out clothes daily with no make up. This is huge for me as I work in the fashion industry where everyone is always *dolled up* with no exception. Feels pretty damn good actually.

I work at home.. And as a 'back to work gift' my DH got me Victoria secret boyfriend sweats.. They are the best thing ever. I wear them to the store more frequently than I'd like to admit..

I will put make up on though. That's how you know my look is complete for the day and that it won't get any better than this.

Well, wearing the same nursing bra for days as a time must count.

For my winter work attire I'm planning to wear nothing but leggings, long sweaters and boots because none of my pp pants are close to fitting. Granted these are cute/put together outfits, but wearing them every. Day. Of the week seems like overkill.

I'm still wearing my maternity khaki capris. Also leggings. I just don't really care anymore. I live in yoga pants at the house and gone to the store in them several times. Oh well

@LokiLahve I went full nerd yesterday and made an Excel spreadsheet of work outfits that fit and are pumping friendly. There's a column for tops, bottoms, jackets and accessories.

It's actually decreased my stress a little because I can look at the spreadsheet and see what is currently working in my closet and pick an outfit. I'm very indecisive in the morning.

I said I'd never wear Ugg boots...I thought they were the ugliest things ever. Little did I know they feel like I'm walking on warm fluffy clouds and I'd wear them around the house too if I could.

@amandarins I was the same way, but I got my first pair 4 years ago and never hated on Uggs again. They're the most comfortable shoes ever. It's like a vacation for my feet.

Changing from PJ bottoms into yoga pants/leggings is how I get dressed for the day.

Can you tell my baby is sleeping and I can't get up? I am bumping up a storm.

@amandarins I'm on my 4th pair. They were a necessity when I lived in Buffalo, NY and now I can't live without them. I have the slippers for at home wear.

You can find all of these things at Target. IMO, Target has the cutest, inexpensive clothing. I like their designs much better than Old Navy, Kohl's, Ross, Marshalls, etc.

Old Navy for all 3! I actually prefer ON's maternity leggings; they come up over my muffin top and hold it in better

I've also been known to wake up, take off dirty pj's midday to take a shower and then change right into clean pj's. It's too late for normal clothes but not quite late enough for pj's...good thing the time changed and it's getting dark earlier...

@jill9288 I wouldn't even consider wearing non maternity leggings... Love ON mat leggings!!

@lokilahve I only have two nursing bras that fit.. So they're in constant rotation.... I only do wash once a week..

This is me too. I was in a 4 or 6 pre-pregnancy. I went shopping the other day and couldn't bring myself to buy 12s. So instead I bought yoga pants, which does absolutely nothing for my work wardrobe.

@mommybolty same exact situation.. Although I was trying to fit my ass in size 2s pre pregnancy so I don't even have any big jeans to attempt to fit into.. Thank god my friends like me and are letting me borrow some jeans.. Although I either have muffin top or dumpy butt.. Pick your poison

I should just do yoga pants huh..

This thread has funny timing. SO laughed at me today. I'm wearing a maroon nursing tank that is too big cuz I bought it when my milk first came In, blue Aeropostale sweats that end at the calf and uggs. I only went to his moms to to laundry so no one else saw me but I think it was a a new low...even for me

Swap out blue sweats for black leggings and we were wearing the exact same thing today.

I live in yoga/work out pants or capris. I'll wear my ugh boots even with the capris and I WILL leave the house like that. IDGAF. But, LO leaves the house looking nothing short of perfection. It's a trade off.
