Reglan for Reflux???

Anyone on this medication? My DS was on prevacid and our pedi just added reglan to the mix hoping that it would help. The prevacid works but only for about 3 hours after taking it. He has severe acid reflux and nothing has seemed to work up until this point. We have tried 5 different formulas, zantac, prevacid, medicated gas drops, etc etc etc. I am hoping this will help. He is 6 weeks and is on .4mg 3-4 times a day. Anyone have experience with this drug?

    It is a miracle drug for some babies and for others it is not. My DS was on it for a weekend and in that time he lost 8 oz from vomiting. He was extremely fussy, much worse than usual. Fussiness is a common side effect associated with this drug.

    We were prescribed Reglan when DD was about 5 weeks old.  We gave it to her 4 times a day for about 2 weeks then slowly tapered off.  I think we gave it for about a month and a half total until we were off of it completely. She did well and it seemed to help.
