My shitty conversation today

  There are tons of cousins on DH's side that are having babies. Through all 4 of my pregnancies there have been no less than 3 other cousins pregnant at the same time as me. Well today one of the ladies said "Hey it's cool you're having twins. Now maybe you wont have an annoyingly perfect pregnancy."
  I was totally blown away and really hurt. And before you ask there was no smile, no haha just kidding. Just. Pure. Spite.
I feel really fortunate that so far this pregnancy has been smooth sailing, but of course that can change at any moment. Now I feel like I've just been jinxed!
I just can't fathom why one pregnant woman would wish another pregnant woman ill. I just needed to vent. Thanks!

    Boy, it's amazing how many folks are just crazy out there! Like you could control the health of your pregnancies--that's nuts. Just shake her nasty vibes off, there's nothing like a beautiful & happy prego lady to bring out other folks' envy. Just think of all the folks in your life who are thrilled for you & let their joy be a buffer.

    TTC SINCE 7/2010, BFP-10/2010 ended in miscarriage 11/2010 : (.....
    Progesterone level 4/2011= 11.29. SA normal. HSG normal.
    8/11 Clomid 50mg=BFN progesterone level 35,
    10/11 Clomid 50mg =BFN progesterone level 31,
    11/11 Clomid 50mg=BFN progesterone level 12,
    12/11 Clomid 50mg=Progesterone 31
    01/12-Break from meds-BFN
    Feb-cd3 blood work FSH(5), AMH(0.56) 02/12 Break....
    03/01/12-Clomid 50mg with IUI #1=BFN.
    04/01/12-Another round of clomid with IUI#2=BFN.
    5/8/12-Diagnostic Laparoscopy-found minimal endometriosis and small fibriod.
    June and July-much needed break
    August-Bravelle 75 with IUI#3- BFN
    September-Bravelle injects with IUI #4-BFP!! MC 10/7/12 : ( Sonohysterogram-Normal
    December- Bravelle(3 good follicles & E2 1252) with IUI#5 BFFN :*(
    July IVF #1- BFP! : )  Beta #1-245, #2- 703, #3- 1655, #4- 3553 YAY!  Praying and Praying this one sticks around!
                      1st U/S scheduled for Aug 23rd!  
    Twins!!
    We are having a BOY & a GIRL !!

    Edit--WOW, I read that wrong.  I thought it was because everyone else had difficult pregnancies and all of your previous babies' pregnancies went smoothly.  Sorry!

    That's rude.  Just remember how special you are to have been given this gift.  Karma!

    TTC since May 2010. DX Unexplained IF. IUI #1 in August 2012. Clomid, Menopur plus Ovidrel. BFN. IUI #2 in September 2012. Clomid, Menopur plus Ovidrel. BFN. IUI #3 in October 2012. BFN. IVF in April/May 2013. BFP with b/g twins! Due February 2, 2014. Thank you God!

    That is atrocious! Who says something like that? I couldn't imagine saying something like that to an enemy and certainly not to a family member. You've been so blessed and I hope that you continue to be so.

    What a douche. What is wrong with people!? And more specifically, family. I have a family member who just wishes death & destruction on people, & I truly don't get it. When I had my 2nd m/c, she took me to lunch to tell me that God told her I was going to have a m/c...umm, thanks!? 

    Brush it off. People are spiteful. She's clearly jealous. That was a jealous statement. Just accept that you are awesome, and she is not. :)

    Ugh. I'm sorry. Some people never cease to amaze. How horrible to wish complications on someone. I almost died with DD and I would never wish that on anyone! I'm hoping she didn't realize what she was saying :-/
