How hard is it for you to get LOs vaccines

On our area doctors offices/peds do not do them. You have to wait till they are old enough call and make an appt. which can be up to a month out.

Right now I can not even get Garrett his 2 month shots because there are no appt. open. He has to have them in order to start daycare.

Not to mention everything going around just makes me angry!

That's weird. I made an appt about a week before she gets them, at my normal pedi office

Easy. They are given at the well child appts or if we want, we can make separate appts, which can be up to a week out.

See that's it no doc office does them everyone has to go to the health department and there are only 1 in each county. This is all new to me, in all the places we have lived (military) I have never had to do this.

When DD was born they had us make the 2 day, 1 week, 1 month and 2 month well appointments. No issues. I would find a new dr.

That's what I don't understand. I am no sure if the back log for appt. is because is te gov. shut down dince it's a government office. Even though we pay (insurance)

I'm in SEMO, our pedi office just started doing them within the past 2 years. Before that it was all at the health dept. we didn't need appts though.

My H is from NWA and his friends' kids get them done at well baby checks.

After many phone calls I finally got answers. This started at the beginning if the year apperantly and since they have state insurance they have to get them done at the health clinic. Since many kids with state insurance most offices have done away with doing them. In my town and neighboring town. Now where I work (over an hour away) they still do them at the offices

It's not hard in my area (KS) either. I just made my appointment for him while I was there for his last appointment and that was it. Glad you finally got an appointment!
