Shower outfit help!

Hi everyone! My mom & a friend are throwing us an adoption shower next weekend and I want to get a new outfit to wear. But I need help figuring out what to go with.

I normally am a jeans or yoga pants and a t kind of girl in my free time. At work I wear slacks and dressy casual shirts. I'm 5'3" and about a size 8, carrying my excess weight in my belly. My legs are very muscular.

Plz post ideas, with links and/or pics if possible. :)

    No, you didn't miss anything. We have said if we were going to have a shower pre-baby that we didn't want it attached to any specific match/baby, since nothing is guaranteed until the paperwork is signed after birth. So we are having it now, before any matches happen.

    That's pretty much how I feel, lol.  I guess I'll just go out and look to see what I like.

    I am a tee and jeans girl too. When I want to be a little dressier I just throw on a nice cardigan with my jeans and a pair of ballet flats. In my opinion, anything looks dressy with a little makeup and your hair done. ;)

    After trying 5 different stores and finding nothing, I found this in my closet - I'd forgotten about it. I'm going to wear it with some cute sweater tights I saw at Target and some boots. I have to buy new boots because my calves have gotten too big for the ones I have, but that should be more fun to shop for. :)
