Aubrey Elaine is here! edd 11/7/2013. long!

Aubrey was born on 11/6/2013 I went into the hospital dilated to a 4 and 90% effaced. I got an epidural and in 45 minutes I was an 8 and 30 min later I was pushing! Everything was going great until I felt like I was ripping up inside (not at my vagina but up by my cervix). I lost all control I have never felt pain like that. I begged them to please check because something felt very very wrong. I was told to quite being ridiculous and to push. After three hours of the ripping feeling and the baby still not coming down under the pubic bone I yelled at my Dr. Again that something was wrong and to take me for a c section. She finally gave in and I was put under. When I got out I was informed that the baby had gotten stuck sideways and would have never come out vaginally. When I got to see my daughter her ears were black from brushing and her head had deep red scrapes from her being stuck at my pelvis. After all that I ended up hemorrhaging because my uterus was "over worked" and would not contract (Dr. words). It was a stressful and traumatic event but I have a healthy baby girl and I feel so blessed. I am very sad that I had to have a c section but that's Ok I guess its what needed to happen.
