Last week 10/31 was my anatomy scan, with a follow up to see the spine better on 11/5. Both appointments I told the tech we did not want to know the gender.
OK so my doctor's office uses this system called "Connect" where you can log in and see your appointments, view lab results, etc. So just now I got an email that I had a lab report in my file ready to view. So I logged into the system and it's a report of the anatomy scan. Great, I think, because the tech pointed out the body parts but didn't tell us anything specific (including baby size etc), other than at the end, "everything looks good and your doctor will follow up."
So I'm happy to look through the details, see "normal" next to all the body parts, see the fetus size, etc... and there at the end of the report:
Other:
Gender: Male
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was like crap! I cannot un-see that...
I am a little sad as I've been dreaming about giving birth and hearing "it's a boy!" or "it's a girl!".....
BUT, I have to say I am SO happy it's a boy!!!! We would have been totally happy with boy or girl but we both would love for our first to be a boy.
So tonight I guess I am going to tell DH the news... He should be happy... about two weeks before the A/S he said, "well maybe we should find out... it would make planning easier...." And I told him, "Seriously, for years we have been talking about this and both AGREED we wanted it to be a surprise!" So he went along with Team Green. But at least he probably won't be upset to know.

Re: Team Green no more! (accidentally)
oh no...so sorry you found out that way. I do hear that you're supposed to say don't document it if you don't want to know because someone can slip up...that's what we did last time with DD (we were team green).
On a side note, so jealous you're having a boy. I hope our next one is a boy
We are team pink again.
Congrats on the baby boy!
