  How far along are you?
  
  I had mine checked by vaginal US every 2 weeks starting at about 16 weeks. Once it went under 3, I was checked every week. Starting at 33 weeks, my doc will now check internally with no more US.

  
  

  D & L are here at 34 weeks 4 days by vaginal and breech delivery on 11/19/2013

  Two healthy boys weighing 4 lbs 15 ozs and 4 lbs 5 ozs.  Only 6 days in the NICU and getting bigger, stronger and cuter every day!

  Had one every two weeks starting at 24 weeks when I had PTL signs and because I had an incompetent cervix with my first. Then at 26 weeks when it shortend a lot they did it weekly. Even though now at 33 weeks and 2 almost 3 cm dilated it isn't a concern because o the IUGR they are taking them in 5 days. If you have concerns talk to your OB they will put your mind at ease. it's so hard not to worry over everything isn't it! But that is only worse after they come out hahah I swear I was running to my son bed side every three seconds that first year and freaking out over every little thing. Don't worry it's normal to stress like that I know I did/ do haha!

  I got mine checked twice....once at 17 weeks and once at 22 weeks. I was flagged for issues at the last one at 22 weeks and now will go weekly for the next 3 weeks at least. I'm a worry wart too and totally understand what you mean!!!!

  My OB checks every time I see her.  I have been checked twice so far and am 16w (today, YAY!).  I know what you mean though!  I am so thankful!  She also does an US at each visit and I love her oh so much for it.

  Mine wasn't checked until I was 35 weeks along, and that was only because they wanted to do the Group B strep test. I did have it checked once at 24 weeks when I went into L&D for BH contractions, but not during my regular appointments.

  I've had mine checked 2x and I'm 31 weeks.. Like PP's have said, more if there's cause for concern. I'd like mine checked again, next appt will be 34wks and I want to hear some dilation (SOME) is occurring!

  mine was checked at 16,18 and 20 weeks and then not again so far.  (all through transvag u/s).  it was measuring between 3.8-5 all three visits.  i've been paranoid as well and have an appointment next week (we are expecting snow so hopefully i can make it!).  i'll ask them to check it then because i am paranoid.  

  Me (37) DH (39); PCOS changed to Unexplained, changed to DOR in 2012 (finally a correct diagnosis!); 

  Started TTC 2009 with RE after 6 months.  

  Clomid + Trigger x2; 

  IUI + Femara x1,

  IUI + Follistim x2;

  IVF #1 (MDL) February 2013- BFN.

  IVF #2 (antagonist) May 2013, First BFP of my life. 

  Identical twin miracle BOYS (!!) headed our way- due date is technically 2/4/14 but c section is scheduled for 1/7!

  Every 2 wks until 32w then they only check dilation.
