Mei Tai users

I'm trying to use my infantine mei tai but DD hates it because when I put her in it (only tried the front carry so far) the straps are right in her eyes. Does anyone else have this problem? Am I doing something wrong? I was going to try to roll the waist, but then the body if the carrier seems so small.

    Definitely put something under her butt rather than messing with the carrier itself. If you post a pic of her in it we might be able to help more.

    I don't know what the Infantino is like, but since my mei tai doesn't have a padded waistband, it works great to roll it up.  I used mine rolled up from 1 week old to about 2 weeks ago when she got tall enough to see out on her own.

    @cricket81 I never would have thought of rolling it but I saw the suggestion on he babywearing guide southsidedrea had in her siggy. I don't have a chance to post a pic now :(

    Maybe I'll try a blanket like I used to do with the ergo.
