S/O the discussion below on Christmas gifts for daycare providers -
DD is in a small center. Last year she was in the infant room, and had one head teacher and two assistant teachers. We gave all 3 a gift card, and brought in donuts for the whole staff.
This year, she's in the Toddler room. Right now, the toddler room has a very variable number of kids because most of them are only going part of the week. There are two main teachers, but then almost everyone else in the center will float in when necessary. We have literally seen EVERY employee in this room, including the Director, and we've only been there since August. And we see them regularly, they each seem to pull a day in the toddler room.
So...how do we handle this? Last years donuts were very popular, so we'll do that again. But do we get giftcards for everyone? Including the infant teachers, since she was there most of the year?
I don't think we can afford to buy giftcards for that many people, it's 12 people. Maybe scratch off tickets? Or do we only do the head teachers?

Re: S/O Christmas gifts for providers: WWYD for center?
DD2's room is like that. It's an open environment with essentially 3 classes of 6 kids with two main teachers each. So all the teachers (and it ends up being 7 since one of DD's main teachers only works till 3 so there's another teacher who helps from 3-6) are in and out of her room. I'm going to get the 2 main teachers a gift and then make a plate of cookies or something for all the other teachers or get them something smaller.
When DD1 was in this classroom I got all the teachers something and it was too much. I'd rather just get the 2 main teachers a nicer gift and get something for the group of them.
DD1's class essentially had 6 teachers, but they all teach her so I have to get them all something. Usually I get a platter of something for the front office too.
