So I've posted several times about E not talking yet and my being slightly worried.
Well, I'm pleased to say that in the last week or so, I've learned that Elissa says "thank you" fairly consistantly. Well, more like "daku", but close enough.
I think she might also have "book", but I can't quite decide is it's consistant or just random.
I'm less pleased to note that I'm probably either a very harsh judge of my kid or totally unobservant or both. The development milestone checklist sent home by daycare says that Elissa "speaks several words independently" back on 9/23/13. Great. Care to share what they are?
I have to admit, I still really want to hear a mama of some sort.
Re: Talking...perhaps.
@Bliz1712 - Yeah, she does both. I'm really not particularly worried anymore once I realized she understood me. And her babbling has gotten even more varied in tone and inflection lately, so I figure that's good. Just more anxious now?
And feeling bad for being unobservant. But trying not to be too hard on myself. Part of life, right?
