xp shipping a bugaboo, anyone have a cameleon?

And want to do me a huge favor and measure it for me?

I have purchased one from a store in the states. Originally postage was quoted as $48. That company won't post to new Zealand. Ups is over $300! The dimensions for the package vary, and it is done on volumetric weight, which is a pain.

Is it possible to take it more apart, to get into a smaller box?

My Bugaboo was packed very tightly in the box it came in. You can't make it smaller because the frame takes up the box length and width and the rest of the pieces are in between. You can ship it USPS, but it will still be expensive.

Wouldn't it make more sense to order from a local NZ company and just pay the currency conversion fee? Go to Bugaboo's site and search for authorized retailers by country. Return the one you ordered from here.

Or get the Donkey. That was never an option for us with DS1 and we got the Cameleon. Then we bought the donkey. They are the hands down the best strollers on the market period. Whatever way you get it and whichever one you choose, you're going to love it!!!
