I have read not to eat bean sprouts but now I'm reading I can eat them if they are cooked. Can anyone weigh in?

Properly cooking sprouts would eliminate the salmonella/ e. Coli potentially present in the sprouts.

Cooked is fine. Sprouts in general are prone to carrying bacteria that could make you sick. Cooking them kills it.

I've had so many uncooked bean sprouts. Between Thai and Vietnamese food, I eaten a ton. My DR. hasn't said anything. Oops, I'll have to bring it up at my appointment next week.
