Two Blighted Ovums Anyone?

This topic has been so hard to find any information on, even from my RE. I started TTC in March and got pregnant that month only to find out in May that it was a blighted ovum. Our doctor told us to wait two cycles to try again. We waited the two cycles and again got pregnant on the first try. Again, only to see another empty sac in October. I'm told it is very rare to have two (especially in a row) and wanted to know if anyone has had this issue or know anyone who has. Any input is appreciated!

    Yep, same here. I have had one successful pregnancy and then experienced this while trying to conceive a second. I had two in the span of 5 months. Just had my first cycle after the last D & C from the second blighted ovum.

    Are you having testing done? Of course I am not happy this happened to you but it does make me feel better that you have a child already. Gives me hope that someday I'll get my take home baby.

    I'll be honest, the fact that we have had one successful pregnancy is the reason we chose not to do testing. That's not to say we didn't consider it but we decided to try one more time and then do testing. I am hopeful that neither you nor I have to face a third. It's so hard having two. It was my understanding that the first was a freak accident and that the odds of it happening again for so small. Then BAM! It happened again.

    I've had a few tests done already but have to wait two cycles before I can have the full work up. Hopefully we both just happened to have two strokes of just bad luck. It'll happen for us
