There isn't enough wine

In my house tonight after the past hour and a half.

I walked into daycare to pick up Cameron to take him to his 15 month appointment. As I am going down the hallway I hear a complete meltdown happening and even with all the kids there I had one of my mom moments and I knew it was Cam. I go into his room and his teacher is rocking him and he is covered in blood. Holy shit.

Apparently he was walking with his sippy cup in his mouth and tripped and busted his lip open. And we all know how lips just bleed and bleed and bleed. I grab him and try and calm him down and that obviously didn't work. A few minutes of crying and screaming and bleeding and he calms down enough to leave daycare, get in the car, and go to the doctor to get three shots. I do NOT have a happy little boy on my hands.

So, it was a traumatic hour for everyone, and the drinking commences now. Anyone joining me?

  • Ugh that sounds horrible! Poor bud!

We've had a shitty day here too with Owen constantly wailing the last 3 hours no matter what. And I'm currently a single parent while H is off in San Fran. I need approximately 18 stiff drinks.

  • Oh poor babe! I'm sorry :(  You know if I could, I'd be right there at the bottom of the bottle with you.
