The nt scan is totally optional here and because I go to a midwife practice, very few of their patients opt in for it. I've not had it with my other two children but I'm considering it this time. Are you planning to do it? Why or why not?
We've done it with both of my other babies and will be doing it again this time. We do it first of all to know if we should do further testing. Second, because it is it the first time we get to see the baby looking/acting like a baby and it really helps my husband connect more with the pregnancy.
Got one last time and are getting it done again this time. DH and I are in the "older" range (he's 37, I'm 36) so the risk is higher and for us it's covered.
I'm planning on it but I haven't researched if my insurance covers it and under what conditions. My insurance pays for 100% of prenatal care, so I would think 100% was 100% but you never know with insurance companies.

Re: S/o ultrasounds... 1st tri scan?
The u/a was the primary reason I opted for it before
