numbness around belly button

Just noticed that my skin is slightly numb by my belly button.  WTF??  Anyone else?  Sorry if this is a sup post- my search did not show any good results.

    Sorry, can't say I have numbness. I do have awful pains in and around it sometimes though : / Maybe your LO is pressing on a nerve somewhere near it that causes a numb sensation?

    My belly button is always numb where I had it pierced so I'm not sure. I'm thinking its probably what am0138 said about LO being on a nerve.

    I have numbness just below my right ribs... the joys of pregnancy.
    BFP #1 (7/13/12) MC (8/14) 9 weeks. D & C 8/17.
    BFP #2 (5/18/13) due 1/26/14. Grow baby grow!

    I've had numbness around my belly button for quite awhile now. I though maybe it had something to do with my anterior placenta.

    @santisdel - Mine is posterior!  Are you carrying all in front?  Are you super stretched?  I feel like it has to do with the nerve ending sin the skin b/c I am sooooooooo our front its a torpedo.

    Mine is definitely quite numb now and has been for a while, and I remember experiencing this the last time I was pg, too. I have a really sensitive belly button when I'm not pg, I know I'm weird, so I'm actually appreciating the numbness and since my OB last time said it was fine, I haven't bothered worrying this time. :)

    Seriously, we talk about belly buttons A LOT to not be showing them off like some weird fetish online site. I'm like THISCLOSE to selfie-ing my belly button and making y'all look at it.
