This year needs to be over.

2013 has been a terrible year for my family. We lost my grandmother and her sister, my uncles appendix burst, my dog lost her left eye, my BILs wife left him and took their infant daughter with her, and my aunt was diagnosed with breast cancer. Shitty. And while I thought we were on the home stretch to get out of this gloom, we find out today that my aunts cancer has now spread to her bones. Can we please catch a break? This is really getting depressing.

    I think everyone has a year like that at some point. It feels like it keeps piling on. Then one day it stops. I'm sorry you are having a rough time. I hope 2014 is full of happy memories and less grief. Big hugs

    Agreed - horrible, gut wrenching crap all seems to come in clusters.  Sorry for everything you're going through and echoing hopes for better next year!

    I have high hopes for 2014. We are going to start TTC in May, and one of my best friends is getting married in June. So I'm hoping that if we can just get through these last two months things will start to look up.

    We had a year that started like that once.  We threw a New Years party in August and it got better.  Maybe real New Year will do the trick for you!
