Well I made it through almost my entire pregnancy without being approached by total strangers...until today. Not one but TWO different people randomly commented on my size today. The first asked if I was having a boy and when I said no a girl, she said she would have sworn boy by the way I was carrying and how big I was. The second actually asked me if I was having twins! I said no just one and she looked shocked and said oh wow you're huge! Both of these people sought me out just to ask me these questions, we were not standing next to each other in line or already engaged in conversation. I just find it interesting how people are compelled to say things to a pregnant woman without realizing how rude it is. I wasn't offended and I'm not bothered by looking HUGE, but I am definitely getting paranoid about the possibility of having a big baby, especially since my sister's boys were almost 9 and almost 10 lbs and she had to have a c section with both.
I'm just glad nobody tried to touch me. LOL.

Like other PP said you look FABULOUS so I don't get the you look huge comments. At least you know what you are having. We are team green and I really have no clue what this baby is. If I was going based on how I felt last time I would say this is another girl but I have no clue. I have to always sit through peoples strong conviction about what they think this new baby's sex is. Ya got a 50/50 shot there. Everyone is saying boy but I tell them I heard the same thing when I was pregnant with my daughter and she is ALL GIRL!!!! People just feel like they can say whatever to a pregnant lady. At least you weren't offended
as for having kids as big as your sisters kids it is a crap shoot. I was afraid about that my one niece was over 8 lbs, my nephew was almost 10 and my other niece is 7 lbs 8 oz. Granted my sister is 5'10 and my BIL is 6'7. My hubs and I are both 5'6 so our daughter was 7.1oz and this one is guesstimated to weight at birth 7.8 oz. but could be smaller just like its sister who was guesstimated to be the same weight and I weighed 20 lbs more when I was pregnant with her.
Hang in there!
Gotta love people. Hahaha...
I was interviewing my maternity replacements with my boss when I was pregnant with DS2. One actually lunged towards me & said, "I'm just going to touch your baby." I backed up & said, "No..." & put my hands over my belly. She said, "Why not?" I said, with the most deadpan face ever, "I'm shy."
How can people not know they are wierd & rude?! Blows my mind.
