Well it was a long day of hunger but I am home and feeling pretty good. RE is going to fax the prescription for my FET meds in before I move and lose coverage. Highlight of the day.... Peeing in a cup for a pregnancy test when I a) have my period b) just had a ton of ultrasounds and ER last week and c) have a DH with no sperm. I know it's just procedure but my IF voice was screaming how ridiculous it was. A close runner up was the 7 IV attempts....they waited until I was sufficiently dehydrated and cold that no one could get one. I am taking my cranky self off to bed now. :)

    Oh kaf, I'm so sorry. I'm glad it went well, but I hate when they miss the IV. For my retrieval they missed three times and I ended up with huge junkie bruises. Hope you get some rest. (IF is a big whore and I hate her too).

    Beta 5/3 = BFP, 87 Beta #2 5/7 560.9 Beta #3 5/9 1376.5 First u/s One Baby, 125bpm!
    Second u/s, 176bmp! Kicked over to the OB by the RE at 8w. Team Green!! 
    Baby girl J arrived two weeks early! Born into water, med-free. Hooray for Team Pink!

    TTC #2 - back to the RE, treatment started 12/2014.

    Glad it's over! Yeah, I had to pee in a cup after a negative beta (different office), I was not amused! And 7 times!?!? Good grief! Rest up you poor thing!

    I'm glad everything went okay. I feel your pain on the PIAC in your situation. I had to do it when I had my d&c. It was like adding insult to injury. Get some rest.

    Glad it went well!!!

    One time when I was at the OB shortly after our DX, I actually refused to pee in the cup. I was in for a culpo - and had been in for a pap a couple weeks before (although different cycle). I looked at the medical assistant and said "My husbands sperm don't swim, and I need to get this culpo done so we can do IVF. Rest assured I am not pregnant."  She sypmathetically took the cup back :)

    MF (low motility) - Began stims for IVF#1 7/21/12
    ER 8/2/12 - 14 eggs retrieved, 12 mature and ICSI'd, 6 fertilized. ET 8/7 - 2 embies. Beta#1 8/17: 143! Beta#2 8/20: 590! Beta#3 8/22: 1,162! 1st US 9/4: one beautiful little bean with the best sounding HB I've ever heard!

    Thanks everyone. I was feeling pretty good today and less cranky! Just some cramping that is ok with some ibuprofen. Was able to pack so that was good.

    Oh goodness - what a day!! Huge hugs for you! 7 IV attempts - after the third I would have been threatening something with said sharp IV needle!! But least it's done and you can now move forward with your FET.
