Potty Training

Hi ladies

DS is 17 months old so my question for you ladies is has anyone attempted potty training, and if you have what has worked best for you.  DS is obsessed with the bathroom and knows if me or my husband are going, as he puts in "pee pee" LOL.  He also lets me know when he has poop in his diaper (on occasion not all the time).  DH and I just found out we are expecting baby number 2 and we were thinking of having our little guy potty trained before the newest member comes in, or course if it works out that way.

Just wondering your thoughts on potty training :)

    It seems to be that he is showing signs that he wants to try. Get a potty chair and see what he does. It might take a while but he'll catch on. Just ask him often if he has to go. Some start earlier then others. Good luck to you and him.

    My SIL Tried the 3 day potty training method and loved it. I plan to try it as well when my DS is ready, which doesn't seem to be anytime soon.

    We are in a stand still as well - because I have no idea what to do next. We bought a potty, J (19 months) sits on it... basically when it's convenient... morning and evening... and occasionally actually goes pee on the potty. But now I don't know what to do next??? Put her in pull ups or something? Just keep everything as is for now..??

    Would love some good potty training resources if anyone has some!
