Swimming seems to be the best for me. My back and neck have really appreciated the 30-45min of not carrying the extra weight around. I highly recommend it. I just walk around in the pool with DH. It gives us some relaxing time together as well.
I voted swimming, but I'm not really swimming. I'm in a pool, and we exercise in the pool, and it feels GREAT! It's like being 10 weeks again instead of 10 weeks left. And the hydrostatic pressure helps alleviate swollen ankles (Just thinking about it is relaxing me)
If I can drag my exhausted self to a prenatal yoga class, I end up feeling so much better. It helps with general aches/pains/stiffness and also helped this shooting pain going down my butt.

I've been running this entire pregnancy and its been going pretty well. As crazy as it sounds, running makes me feel lighter on my feet than walking does. I'm really hoping I can run up to my due date but that may not happen.

Love ittttt!!! I've been swimming throughout my whole pregnancy!! I absolutely love it. It makes me feel extremely energized. Definitely rooting you on till the due date!
I work 50 hours a week, chase a toddler, do 5th grade homework, make dinner, and clean my house . Thats as close as your gonna get to making me exercise.
That's sounds like more exercise than alll of these choices combined
As far as actual exercise goes, walking. I would have said swimming, but swimming with a 3 year old and 1 year old consists of sitting in the kiddie pool, so it's not really exercise. We do have a dog though, so we try to go walking 3 or 4 times a week.
In regards to life in general, like @wilburbud said, I chase two kids around, clean my house, cook and clean up supper (and breakfast & lunch) and do all sorts of other things, so exercise for me, is very dependent upon whether I want to walk up the stairs for the 253rd time that day or not.

I chose walking but for me, it's been a tie between that and prenatal yoga. Walking 3-4x a week keeps my energy up and the prenatal yoga helps to keep me limber/stretched out so the combo is really ideal.

Yeah, still not really helpful. Do you means in terms of injuries/pain, energy, sleep, or possibly to help prepare for birth? This is such a broad question.
ETA: It's a broad question with narrow options to choose from. My go to exercise isn't on there.
I've been working (gardening) full time, but this week suddenly my hours are cut (end of the season).
So, here I am. At home. Thinking about going for a walk or doing a yoga video (ondemand). Hasn't happened yet, though... instead I'm making parsnip muffins.
Walking and yoga are my go-to forms of exercise these days, outside of work.
Mmmmmm mufffinsss..sounds delicious! I hear yoga is great for back aches and sleepless nights, I might try it too..

I agree. Swimming has done wonders for me. I've been swimming throughout my pregnancy, doing laps back and forth for 30-45 mins. This week was the only week I couldn't and I'm surprised to notice how much it relieves the pains I didn't have before but do now. Have fun fellow swimmer lol! Corny but I love the support!
Can I be SS on this one. I downloaded a workout video instead of getting a gym membership because while I've enjoyed a good long walk or jog during pregnancy, being away from a toilet for and hour or two...well, it's complicated.
I have done yoga quite a bit, too- and I like that, but again, it's just videos - not going anywhere for it but my own living room.
& I wish I could swim...water all around me and I really enjoy it, but...stupid shoulders. Jealous of you swimmers.
Walking has been helping me the most this pregnancy. I guess it loosens things up, helps me relax my neck and shoulders, and the fresh air seems to be good for headaches. If I don't remember to wear my belly brace thing, though, I get lots of RL pain (I walk fast, I can't not walk fast).
With DD I did tai chi and it was awesome. I think that's part of the reason I'm having more issues with headaches, and neck pain this time. I only took the class for about a year before we moved and it just wasn't something I could keep up with on my own.
Crossfit has been helping me so far. I am starting prenatal yoga tonight to offset the pelvic pain and sciatica. Crossfit is getting way lighter with every class though, but I feel so much better after I workout.
I used to walk about 4-5x a week during 1st and 2nd with SO, but his work schedule changed and after 15 steps I have to pee with LOs head sitting on my bladder so I picked swimming so I can feel freeeee
Um, considering I find it to be exhausting simply to roll from side to side in bed at night..
..I really need a "SS" option here, y'all
I think in this case "SS" would stand for 'Standard Snowflake' or something like that - I totally fall into this bucket! Ugh no idea why it won't let me put text outside the gray box, sorry...
So rolling over in bed is harder than any plank I did in crossfit these days! So... I'm counting it. It has not helped.
I have some pelvic exercises that don't require much energy but have helped with the pain...so there's that? Still, the rolling over is the hardest. And the walking. Oh and the sitting up... Pregnancy is a really physical sport.
Definitely need an SS option!!! I voted swimming just because that's what I do with DS, but I'm also doing Zumba, chasing a toddler and 5 year old dog. All while trying to stuff my face!!
I agree, crossfit has done wonders! Feel amazing after every workout relives all the stress and tension. Of course going lighter and lighter every week, soon Just my body weight will be a good enough workout.
I am doing Crossfit too and up until now it has been a saving grace! Though Monday's WOD gave me a "menstrual cramp" like feeling, I think due to the knee push ups I was doing. It freaked me out and I rowed and biked the rest of the time. Any advice Crossfitters? I want to go back and keep it up as much as I can.
I ran three miles a few weeks ago and my sciatica really flared up. No running for me until baby is born. Walking and hiking though.
I go on a hike any day I'm at home (the last month and a half I've been traveling a lot). Since I live on-site where I work and part of my job is social media and keeping people engaged, it helps to motivate me that by taking that hike I can take photos that I need for work. I'm trying to build up an arsenal for when I'm out on maternity leave! Here's one I took this morning.
We have some hiking trails right two blocks fromm our house that I take our dogs out on almost daily. I try to do about two miles, but with the uneven terrain I do feel the strain on my feet/legs from the extra weight i'm carrying around that my body isn't adjusted to. Despite running a half marathon right before getting pregnant, I have not been able to run this entire pregnancy, my back tightens up and gets very sore if I try and it is just uncomfortable.

Sex is helpful because it gets me off and relieves stress.
Walking is helpful because it is somewhat keeping me in shape.
Swimming and yoga are helpful because they help alleviate my body pains associated with pregnancy.
Running...running just sucks.

I bought a prenatal yoga DVD about a month ago. I still have time to start it, right?
