I sat back for a few weeks while everyone complained about the constant phone calls, texts, FB messages and thought "Thank goodness my family/friends aren't like that!" Well time was all that was needed to burst that bubble for me. I'm going to echo what so many of you have said: we aren't keeping this baby a secret!!!! We will call when something happens!!!!

My favorite was when FIL showed up at the house unexpectedly yesterday, he walks in and says, "No baby yet?" My response, "Yep, he's upstairs sleeping right now"

My MIL has called 3 days in a row... and I know my mom and sister aren't far behind. Ugh.

My parents live in South Carolina and I live in Pennsylvania, so I'm pretty sure my mom jumps everytime she hears the phone ring. On Sunday she called me at 1:30, right when I was leaving to grocery shop. So I called her back at 2:50 and she answered saying, "I was hyperventilating!!! I was giving you until 4:00 then I was going to call Jason! (H)" LOL! I go, "Yeah, I had the baby...he's really cute. You should come visit." Does she think I won't call her when something finally happens???

my mom had been calling every day "to check on me" finally, I answered the phone "Still pregnant,mom if that's why you are calling" She denied, but didn't call me the next day!

Hahaha - my parents are pretty good about not constantly checking in, but every time I call them, right when they answer I have to say "Hi, it's me, I'm not in labor!"

For a while I would send my family members a text before calling them, "Not in labor, but I'm calling." so they wouldn't jump down my throat at soon as they picked up the phone.

I saw I had notifications on this post and really didn't remember creating it recently, so I was really confused too. Weird that someone decided to comment on it now. I am 12 weeks pregnant though and hanging out on the May '14 board.

ETA: I'm more than happy to come back, I've been pretty bored at work lately and could use an extra board for entertainment.
