Oh sleep..... I dream about you! V teases us with a STTN once in a blue moon. But, most nights, he's up at least once for around 35-45 min. Some nights it's even twice.
A was sleeping thought the night until he started teething/ got sick. now he's up around 4:30-5:30. It was I'm up for four hrs mom! Now it's down to half hr to an hr thank God! He then wakes between 6/7 and is up for the day, Lol I miss waking at eight!
DD is STTN. She may whimper at night, and sometimes we will go put a paci in (we are trying to wean from that, so we aren't going to do it anymore, we will just soothe her and give her her lovey if needed). I thought the whimpering was teething, but it was stopped and no teeth. I think it was a wonder week, because it was around the time she started walking.

we were STTN from birth till about 10 months.... and this last week she wakes up from her crib scraming as if there are 100 trolls biting her toes off sooooo she comes to our bed to finish the night.. this morning the trolls came at 2:30 (maybe earlier, the sound on the baby monitor was off so ...)
I don't want to jinx myself, but DD has been doing quite well lately with her sleeping. She had a few rough weeks in September. She ended up getting two teeth around then, plus it was right after I went back to teaching so I think that contributed to her sleeping issues. I think her molars are going to be coming in pretty soon. I'm gearing up for that!
STTN is a dream. We were down to one wake up around 5:30 for the longest, but now we are back to two wake ups. 1.5 oz bottles put her right back out, but it's still no fun to have to wake up.
I have come to the realization that we really lucked out in the sleep department. F is out cold from 7-ish to 7-ish and has been since about 6mo. So, don't hate me bc I'm beautiful, hate me bc my kid is an awesome sleeper. =0)
We are getting a new roof on the house this week, and DH said he still napped like usual even with the guys running around making all kinds of racket up on the roof.

we;re going through a rough patch - she was sick last week, the time change and getting a new tooth - yesterday we were up at 4:15 am and today it was 6.
H STTN sometimes (maybe half the time) and other times does not. And I have no idea why. If he wakes up, I nurse him and he usually goes back to sleep right away. Except when he doesn't. Overall, though, I think he does pretty well.

This is us too...with the exception of maybe 6 or 7 days since she was 6 months old, LO sleeps from 630ish to 630ish. And on weekends if we don't have to get her up it can be later. I like to think she's making up for the hellish first 3-4 months of her life where sleep was not in her vocabulary and crying was the only sound she ever.made!
Re: What is your sleep situation like?
About once a week he is up once (or twice) in the night.
I don't believe it to be teething related.
