Congrats on your pending move to 3rd Tri, Jez! Hope to join you over there in a couple of weeks.

I'm 26 weeks, 4 days and still grateful for feeling terrific. I just visited my friend and her twins in the NICU today. They were born at 30 weeks (4 weeks ago) and are so tiny and cute and doing well! I can't wait to give them a playmate in a few months.

No appts. this week.

QOTD: I figure my LO will be a really tall kid, by means of both DH and myself. DH is 6'6" and I'm 5'9" and was tallest in my class until I stopped growing at 12 y.o. I'm also guessing that LO will be a big geek (DH) and/or creatively weird (me). I'm hoping LO doesn't inherit my bad feet.

Congrats! I will take over if nobody else raises their hand.

This week I have a regular appointment. It can't come soon enough, I have anxiety that there is no longer a HB or something will be wrong. I just ordered my doppler and it can't arrive soon enough.

QOTW - I hope my LO inherits my compassion and optimism, but everything else I hope comes from DH.

ETA: LOL, my answer to the QOTW seems a little out of place given the statement I made immediately before it...optimism much??

This will be my last check in with 2nd tri, seems like a bunch of us are moving on! I will be 27 weeks tomorrow, which was the goal we set with our MFM. The girls are doing better, but I am still in the hospital. Tomorrow I have a BPP, growth scan, fetal echo, and I am also starting electronic monitoring.

QOTW: I hope our girls inherit my husbands red hair! Also our nerdiness

I hope they do not inherit my terrible eyesight and my clutziness.

I hope my little one gets DH's math genius, his calm and laid back nature, his determination to see a project through, and his blue eyes. I tend to throw in the towel or lose the motivation to finish something and I get frazzled so easily.

i cannot believe i am 27 weeks today. that's incomprehensible to me! my belly is growing by the hour (sometimes by the minute it feels like!) and i'm starting to worry how big i will actually be when they get here! i have an OB appt Thursday and have been measuring about 5-6 weeks ahead in the past so guessing i'll be measuring around 33 weeks or so. I also have my GTT this week and was able to find the jelly beans on amazon. Unfortunately I couldn't find a smaller bag than 4 pounds so we have LOTS of leftovers.

QOTW: I hope the boys inherit their dads love for sports and brilliance, and my sense of humor. I hope the babies do NOT inherit our anxiety. We're both pretty bad and are working on how to raise these boys without turning them into little worriers like our families did with us!

17w4d Anatomy scan in one week - so excited to find out genders for sure! ( so far we're probably 2 girls but the second baby was hard to tell)

Hi girls! 25 weeks 2 days! Feeling good. Had my gtt last week, they did it early due to my pcos and dad was type 2 diabetic...I passed

so relieved, although I will most likely be tested again due to the risk factors. Starting to enjoy this pregnancy and actually believe we are going to be parents. It's hard to believe at times. Feeling this little guy move a lot more. My husband felt his first kick this week! Qotw: hope he inherits my husbands business sense and entrepreneurial skills...and I hope he has rhythm and loves to dance like his mama. Traits I hope be avoids, worry, we are both worriers in a different way.

I'm 22w3d and still feeling good most of the time! I found out Friday I'm not having a girl. I wanted a boy so I'm happy! We have narrowed down to 2 names. QOTW: I think this baby is already taking after his dad. He is measuring big (dad is 6'5). I hope he looks like his dad and has more of my traits, but some of his dad too.

Updates: 20 weeks! I posted separately about our anatomy scan this week, everything looks good. Doing an early GTT in 2 weeks due to a higher risk with multiples.

I hope the babies gain my study habits, and DH's athleticism and ability to not let things bother him. I'm a little higher strung!

27 weeks today!!!! I had my bi-weekly ob appt today - and everything is looking great - my BP was good and I passed my GTT and that babies are kicking around in there. I could not be more thankful right now. I have a growth u/s next week - so I'm curious how big they are right now.

And I guess this is my last week in the 2nd tri too - I can't believe it myself!

Hi Ladies! My next Ob appt is 11/18 and my AS is 12/9. I can't wait to find out the gender! I posted separately about a deer tick/Lyme scare that I am facing. I have an appt with my primary doctor tonight so I am hoping he will just order more tests in a few weeks if no symptoms present. My OB said the alternative meds to doxycycline are both problematic for me due to allergies so I am praying hard that I wasn't infected. All of my neighbors have had it so this worry has been on my mind even before I got pregnant.

Qotw- I hope they get my husband's laid back attitude and smiley personality and not get my anxiety!

I'm 22w3d today. I had my fetal echo on Monday and everything looked perfect. The placenta previa is gone too! I was so worried about that, but it's moved up and I don't have any restrictions anymore. I still will go in next month to make sure it's still in the right place.

I hope our baby gets DH's determination, motivation, and thoughtfulness. I hope she gets my compassion and both of our attitudes toward money and saving. I hope she doesn't get my tendency to worry!

QOTW: What traits to you hope you little one gets from your DH and yourself? I hope Turtle gets DH eyesight and red hair, and my, really my families, stature/height.

What traits do you hope they don’t get? My DHs never ending stubbornness (the man can NEVER admit when he is wrong! LOL), and my tendency to overanalyze everything.

I'm late!!! Can't believe a few of us will be miving on to 3rd TM next week; crazy!!! All is well this week, I had my 1 hour GLT and it was 134; my OB uses 135 as a cutoff, so tech I passed, but I'm doing 3 hour GTT Monday since my mom is diabetic and I'm overweight and over 35

QOTW: I hope our little guy gets my goofiness/ silliness (I guess we both have that trait), my sensitivity, and my DH's cleverness, and intellect.

Just had our 16 week appt this afternoon, and hearing that beautiful HB put my fears to rest again, at least for today. We have our A/S and amnio with an MFM on 11/22. Excited about finding out the gender and seeing the baby, but very nervous about the amnio.

I hope LO gets DH's beautiful green eyes and my coppery colored hair, and DH's mellow and easygoing temperament and my business sense. I hope he/she doesn't get my anxiety.
