I was wondering what you ladies thought of our name choices?

Girl: Ryleigh (not 100% on spelling yet) Ann.
We chose Ryleigh because my DH was stationed at Fort Riley when we met each other. And Ann is my Nana's middle name.

Boy: Jackson (Jaxon?) Joseph.
Jackson was both of our first choices for a boys name. We chose Joseph for a middle name because my DHs best friend Joey was KIA in 2010. We thought this would be a perfect way to honor him.

    Very popular these days so NMS, but I do like them alright. We used to like Riley before it exploded.

    I'm not a fan of Riley but I like the meaning behind why you chose it and I do prefer Riley to Ryleigh. I'm not a fan of the double J's in Jackson Joseph but, again, I like the reason you chose the name. I prefer Jackson to Jaxon as well but I don't mind the Jaxon spelling either.

    I love Jackson, it's popular here. But to me any spelling of Riley is a boys name. I see online people using it for girls, never seen a girl Riley in irl. But I always think when a teacher looks at his/her list I want them to see my kids name and know if it's a boy or girl. Not assume she's a he.

    Rylie is also a Girly spelling of the name. As a teacher I've seen Jaxon and Jackson. I think they're both "normal" now

    Very cute. I also like the more common ways of spelling them as well. Jackson is SOOOO POPULAR right now.

    I would spell them Riley and Jackson. I think it takes away the Fort Riley meaning if you mess with the spelling. All the Rileys I know IRL are boys but I know it's popular for girls in some parts of the US. 

    Jaxon always looks like some kind of cleaner to me- Javex, Clorox, Jaxon, etc. So I would spell it Jackson. I think the middle name is a nice way to honour your DH's friend.

    I think there cute names! And I personally like the spelling Ryleigh. It's different but not out there. Jackson I like the spelling either way.

    I like Ryleigh too, I think it's cute.  Even if you tweek the spelling, you both will always remember why you named her that.  I think spelling it like that definitely identifies it more with a girl.  I like Jackson spelled either way.  My co-worker is naming her little boy Jaxon (Jax for short) and I love it!

    I like both names. When I see the spelling Ryleigh though, I pronouce it in my head as rye-lay. I personally like Riley better, but it's your baby so spell it the way you like. :)

    Love both. My sisters oldest is Jaxon and I personally like the spelling cause we call him Jax for short. Reilly was one of my original names cause it was my maiden name and I love Anne with it. I also love Reilly Jade.

    My daughters name is Rilee we spelled it this way because my name has a "lee" in it and the "lee" has been passed down for generations in my family. I felt it was a feminine way to spell it.

    Allthough I have to admit when I named her no one had that name! and I feel like I hear it all the time now ! And it pisses me off. :-L

    But if you don't mind "popular" names I think it's darling.

    As for the boy name I like Jaxon for the spelling :)

    I like ryleigh. Its a sweet name but spelled a little different so its not like every other "riley" out there. I love it. I like Jackson or Jaxon spelled either way. I think you have wonderful choices here.
