Growth Ultrasound Question

Hi ladies!

We have our first growth ultrasound on Monday and I was wondering how it differs (if it does) from other u/s such as the a/s. What all was being checked?

I'm not really concerned about anything but I realized this morning that I wasn't sure what all it entailed so I'm curious :). Thanks!

    They measure certain things like femur, head and length to estimate a weight. For your purposes, there will be no difference than all the other ultrasounds you have. If will be abdominal. It won't really take any longer.

    The a/s would have been way longer and way more detailed. Growth ultrasounds and all the others typically are not 3d although my techs will usually turn it in for a minute if they can get a face shot so I can have a pic.
