Hi ladies, lurking from 1st tri. I have an 11 month old DD and I'm 10 weeks pregnant with LO2. I currently wear DD in an action baby carrier everywhere we go. I can do a front or back carry. But I'm guessing babywearing with a big bump might not be comfortable if even doable. Do any of you have experience baby wearing while pregnant? Do you think it's doable throughout the pregnancy or should I start looking into getting a stroller?TIA
A friend of mine wears her babies while pregnant. She uses a Kinderpack and a Beco Gemini and front carries while her bump is little, but back carries with the waistband under the bump once it gets too big to manage. She also has used a wrap and mei tai...you just need to experiment to find what's most comfortable, but lots of people babywear while pregnant, I think.
I wore up until I delivered. I actually found it more comfortable to tie above my bump but others prefer under. I used mei tais and wraps primarily. As long as it's comfortable for you, it's fine to do - just listen to your body
I wore my two year old son while I was preggo with my twins, up until I was too gigantic to get anything around even under my bump :0 I think that was around 32 weeks. I back carried him in an Ergo. I'm not sure if they speak specifically to babywearing while pregnant (and I'm mobile and can't go double check), but https://babywearingmama.org was a good resource for me. I still wear my twins (now two) in a front and back carry using dual Ergo carriers. Congratulations on the new baby!!!!!

I wore up until a few days before DS2 was born. I blogged about what worked for me with wraps:
