On crutches :(

So, Saturday night DH and I were attending a charity even in town.  It was our first night out in who knows how long.  Five minutes (!) into the evening, I missed a step and sprained my foot.  I had hoped just ice and elevation and some rest would help, but yesterday morning i couldn't put any weight on the foot, so off to the hospital we went.  Thank goodness my sister and brother-in-law were still there to stay w/A.  Diagnosis was a moderate sprain and I have to stay off my fee as much as possible for the next two days and probably use crutches through this weekend.  Ugh.  I can't carry A around at all and it is so frustrating not to be able to do anything. I hate it!  Plus, tomorrow is a big election day here and I was supposed to be out and about all day long doing campaign stuff which requires, you know, walking.  ugh, ugh, ugh.
