I'm having my first experience with hemorrhoids... and it's miserable.. I don't want to move I'm nervous about teaching all day tomorrow! Oh the joys of pregnancy haha.
@TheLibraryLady ... Did you call your doctor ? Hope you feel better so soon!!
Thank you ladies !
No, my mom is a L&D nurse and my husband is a Dr and neither of them seemed horribly concerned. Apparently it's pretty normal to get them during pregnancy. Mom gave me some colace and recommended a few ointments if they got any worse. I think I got mine because I was on my feet a lot more than usual last week and have been constipated for a couple months since I started taking zofran. Hope you find some relief soon!
I second the Tuck's recommendation. I have been one f the lucky few to have them pre-pregnancy a few times in my life. Colace, try not to force too much on the toilet, and drink lots of water. Also, try not to sit too much! Get up and walk around every once in awhile as you are able at work.
Black tea bags! Steep them in just a little water and then warm or cold they really help. I tuck one in there and wear a pad with it. Sorry if that's tmi but they really do help!
Mama to a little girl born July 2011 and a little boy born April 2014!
Boo!! Yeah I never had them either until my last when I was on Zofran all the time too. Talk about a pain in the ass. They need to just go ahead and add a laxative in with the Zofran! I never tried tucks personally but I have heard they really help as well.
