Anyone using Radian RXT FF yet?

So, we're *almost* sold on getting this seat.. quick back story, we want to get a seat that will work with doing 3 across in our 2012 Santa Fe.. we currently have en evenflo triumph LX (which is wide-ish), but am hoping if we got the radian rxt for DS2 that would allow us to still do 3 across.. (if not, we could always do a radian for DS1, also, if we had to)..

My question is.. does anyone here have an older toddler/kid using the radian FF? We would like to do ERF until 3, but obviously at some point will switch to FF.. I've seen a couple negative reviews about the radian FF and how it causes the child's head to drop forward as soon as the child falls asleep.. some people were actually taking it back because of this.. curious if anyone here has experienced this or has any input? It's kind of expensive and I'd hate to buy it now and then not like it in the future once we switch to FF...

Good question, and I'm not 100% sure about the latch in center.. but I know it's possible to do 3 across.. as for any seat doing that.. I've read there are some that recline more in the FF position (like the frontier 90).. but, upon digging more, I've found that the Frontier 90 is hard to get a good secure fit if you use the recline.. bah, so many decisions!

OH you can do it without center LATCH, we do. It's just not quite as easy of an install but totally doable. TBH I think by the time they are forward facing the head thing wouldn't be a big issue. That's just me though. I really do love the Radian.

I was actually just talking to a friend of mine about this.. she pointed out the same thing.. especially if I want to keep them RF until at least 3.. by the time you switch them to FF, they probably won't be falling asleep in the car all the time.. I think I'm going to order it

Thanks! I also found that Kohls sells them online, and I have a 30% off coupon (it would bring it to just under $240) plus you'd get $10 kohls cash for every 50 spent.. so it'd be $40 in Kohls cash, too.. I think that might be the "cheapest" way to get them.
