My nephew was very confused with how we knew the baby's gender as we cut into a white frosted cake with PINK on the inside when we told our family this weekend what our LOs A/S revealed....
"Did they get that from the hospital?" He asked my sister-in-law in a whisper...trying to wrap his head around a baby gender reveal cake...She just about died laughing as she tried to explain how it worked.
Re: Gender reveal party confused my 9 year old nephew...
your nephew's response is cute!!!
Oh good god no. It's bad enough to have a gender reveal party - don't turn it into a fundraiser.
@sweetpeaamber, I don't think it is appropriate whatsoever to expect money/gifts for a gender reveal party. You could take "bets" but not in the monetary form. I have seen on Pinterest where people get a button for which sex they think it is, or they tally their "vote" on a chalkboard when they arrive.
