My mother thinks DH and I are creating a little spoiled monster by putting her in bed with us some nights. We only do it if she wakes up in the MOTN and is so fussy she won't go back to sleep (even after we've offered a bottle) - maybe once or twice a week at the most? And it's usually around 3am so the two of us can get a few more hours before we need to start our day. DD is 7 months. How many out there are co-sleeping, even sporadically?
Re: How many Co-sleep?
Our DD is 9 months and I sometimes bring her to our bed on the weekends when she get's up early. Even though she STTN I just like to have a little more time in bed with her.
I personally cannot do it as my h & I like to cuddle and DTD.
We do, my 8 month old is more than happy in her crib. Goes down awake and puts her self to sleep with zero tears or fussing. She does this for all naps and at the start of the night. But...I am just too tired to feed her and return her to her crib. I nurse her lying down on a twin bed in her room and then I pass out and nurse on demand all night. I get way more sleep this way.
I do hope to start spending more time in my own bed, with my husband...but am just to lazy/tired to get up in the night and go back down the hall!

We bed share 100% of the time. My son will leave when he wants to and we can sacrifice our space for more sleep and a more secure child.
Just a thought.
We co-sleep with our LO and we have been ever since she came home. We have a king sized bed so we all have our own little space. I just can't imagine putting her away from us in another room. She is a little spoiled, but I think that is more so grandma's fault
You should never feel bad about bringing your baby to bed with you, and if your mother doesn't like it, guess what, she doesn't have to know!

We don't co-sleep, but I thought this had some very valid points.
