Yes this can be normal. Your baby is pushing on a lot of nerves in that area right now, especially if your baby is already head down, and when you use those pelvic muscles to have a BM it could fire off one of the nerves and a lot of things are connected down there nerve-wise so nerve pain is more than likely what you're feeling.
Sorry not the answer to your question but FYI. Be careful while pushing when you go #2 coz I dialated 3 cms pushing for #2.
