8 week old sleeping?!?

So my little one is slowly getting out of his sleeping all the time stage. He was born a month early and I've never had any issues with his sleeping until the last few nights. I'm sure it's normal but just wondering how ya'll get your little ones into a routine sleeping. I still have about a month before I go back to work so I'm trying to get him in some kind of routine before then if at all possible lol!!

    I personally don't believe newborns are all that capable of falling into a routine that affects their sleeping unless it's their routine. Like, I never bothered to get DS into a sleep routine but he had his own routine and regular schedule. Does that mean it was what I wanted him to have? No, but whatever. It made it so I could guess when he'd be falling asleep, eating, etc. 

    But all babies are different :)

    Starting week 8 we began doing nighttime baths, feed and put down. It was rough the first couple of days but now, at 12 weeks, he's asleep by 9pm. Every baby is different but we wanted to come up with some routine for my LO that would establish normalcy.

    That's what I was wondering too is if routines are even possible this young! I guess we will just keep doing what we are doing and hopefully it will stick lol!! Thank y'all :)

    She is in her crib by 7:00-7:15. Bath beforehand (every other day). When my friend suggested a 6:00-7:00 bedtime, I thought she was crazy, but it has been the best advice. I used to put her down around 9 or 10, but she would be so fussy beforehand and sometimes not go down. Now, at 7:00, she is so ready for sleep and never puts up a fight...sometimes she is even ready earlier. She used to wake up once around 1:00 or 2:00am, and then go back to sleep until 7:00 or 8:00, but now, she sleeps through the night :-)
