We're re-doing our master bath counters. Would you prefer, in the master, a single-handle faucet, or one with separate cold and hot water handles (i.e. 8" wide spread)? Add why if you want! Thanks.

  • When we were remodeling our hall bath, we chose the separate handles.. I think it's just visually more appealing to me. With a single knob though, you get the ability adjust with one hand.

  • I like the doubles in bathrooms just b/c of aesthetics. However  we have the single in our master bath & I like the convenience & easy to adjust factor. They make them pretty nice looking now too. Plus in the bathrooms where my kids go, they always just turn on the cold which makes me a little crazy b/c I want them to use warm water to wash...
  • I think the separate handles look much nicer.

  • It kind of depends. We have a really cool modern single handle in our guest bath and a 2 handle in our master bath. The one thing I really like about the 2 handle in the master is that the faucet moves from side to side instead of being stationary which is great for cleaning the sink and washing my face. Check out Delta Faucets they have some really nice new lines coming out. That's where we found ours.
