so confused - late AF, HSG question

my period was due on Friday. my cycles are extremely regular (MFI is our issue) -- 28 days or shorter, never longer. so after i missed my period on friday i took a test on saturday and it said pregnant. i was on top of the world for about an hour or so, until i decided to take another test to make sure. the next test said negative, as well as the 2 tests i took after that. so now i am 4 days late and i don't know what to think. i had an HSG last month, is it possible that messed with my cycle and i got a false positive? or false negatives? i am thinking it is too late for a chemical pregnancy. i am so confused!!!!

i emailed the nurse at my fertility clinic but i wanted to see if any of you ladies had ever experienced anything like this. i am on pins and needles -- i just want to know one way or the other! so frustrating!

Have you tested with first morning urine since Saturday? It makes complete sense that you could see a positive with FMU and then a negative an hour later with non-FMU. They say you should hold your pee for at least 4 hours before testing and ideally only test with FMU.

Thanks for the input -- I tested first thing yesterday morning. Just heard back from the dr -- they said it is unlikely that the negative home tests were inaccurate

thank you, i appreciate that. the first positive was a clearblue easy digital and so was the first negative, the other 2 negatives were rite aid brand +/-. my OB had me come in for a blood test today but the nurse was practically laughing at me and kept asking me why i was there

i am definitely going to complain when the dr calls me tomorrow.

OMG, seriously??? That makes my blood boil. I seriously want to punch her, and I'm not at all a violent person. I'm really sorry you had to go through that. I'm glad you're going to complain though. Hopefully you can save the next woman from having to go through something like that with that biotch of a nurse. Keep us postied on the blood test results.

thank you so much for the support, i love having this board to come and vent to because these aren't the types of things i can complain to my coworkers, etc. about! AF came yesterday and the dr never called. i guess they will call this morning. i hate that the rude nurse was right

i missed the call from the dr. they left a message saying that my beta number was "high" and they want me to come in for another test. i can't bring myself to call them back and tell them AF is in full force. i guess it was a CP after all
