AW: Shout out to Awesome Sisters!

I have to AW my two fantastic sisters, and in all fairness, my sister-in-law deserves her shout out as well.  Some of you may remember my intro or have seen some of my posts and know that I have a nearly 12 year gap between my second daughter and this LO.  This baby is the most amazing surprise of our lives, but we are back to being like first time parents.  My sisters, who are my absolute best friends in the world, are hooking me up beyond belief as well as my SIL.

Not only are they making it impossible for me to have to buy anything for this LO by giving me all of their excellent condition-used things, they are the best mental support ever.  It makes me more and more thankful every day that we are being blessed with our third baby girl.  There is nothing like sisters.  I love my brother too, but the sister bond is something special.  For the record, we were normal children who couldn't stand each other growing up.  The relationship developed as adults. 

So, here's a shout out to all the awesome sisters out there....  You Rock!

    Sisters are awesome, I have two myself and they are just wonderful. So great to hear you've got such helpful/supportive family around!

    Lucky...I am mad at my twin sister at the moment. She is not being awesome at all. She started to date this guy that has 3 kids of his own (she has no kids of her own and has never been in a serious relationship) right around the time I announced my pregnancy. Ok no big deal but now she blows me off when I need her. Did I mention she is my TWIN sister.

    You are very blessed with awesome sisters and if you want to spare one my way I wouldn't mind! Congrats!

    What awesome energy to put out -- thank you! Congrats on being so fortunate and good on you to recognize what a gift these women are :)

    I didn't have sisters or even many girl cousins growing up but luckily, I have two amazing SILs now and I absolutely adore them. We're all completely different from one another but I have an amazing bond with each and am fortunate to live near both. I too feel SO lucky!!!

    I would totally adopt you as a sister ;)..  I hope you two can work things out someday.

    ditto! my younger sister is pregnant too. due just a couple weeks away, and she's been awesome bouncing ideas back and forth and sharing info on sales and stuff. I'll putting together a newborn survival kit for her for when her daughter gets here, can't wait!!

    My older sister is amazing! I don't know what I would do without her. My step-sister is 6 years younger and we have really developed a stronger relationship over the years. I also could not have asked for a better SIL! I feel very blessed!

    I love the sister/SIL testimonies!  My SIL popped over for a quick visit last night.  I don't give her enough credit, but she is really pretty awesome. 

    Funny thing about my SIL, my whole family is a band of really dark haired girls.  My brother didn't want to marry anyone who remotely reminded him of his sisters and cousins (gee, I wonder why), so he always went for the more blonde the better.  After he married his wife, she started progressively coloring her hair darker in order to help "fit in" with the brunettes.  He made her stop it, and we explained that we love all hair colors.
