Jolly jumper

Does anyone put their kids in them? Do you have the door one or the stand? Are they "bad " to use?

We use the door one. It is a little nerve wracking at first...I mean who hangs their infant from a spring from a door frame? lol. Anyways, my daughter LOVES hers and has been using it a few times a week (at least) since 3.5months. We only hang it on doors that have a solid, thick frame. And we have held on to the frame ourselves and lifted out feet to ensure it can support our weight.

When I attach it to the door frame I give a good tug to ensure it is solid.

As nerve wracking as they seem remember that these have been around for decades. If they were a safety concern they would have been banned or have a reputation (like walkers).

For what it's worth. I will only use the original "jolly jumper" brand. The others seem a little off to me. I like that the jolly jumper one is a snug harness ( a pain to put on) that full support my daughter, keeps her in good posture etc. The ones you just plop a kid in, like an exersaucer, make me nervous.
