Holding baby

in Babies: 3 - 6 Months
My baby boy is 14 weeks old and only allows me and my husband to hold him. When his grandparents who he sees very often holds him and I'm not there, he screams bloody murder. I don't know what to do because this means I can never leave him anywhere. Any advice to train him to go to others?

    We try that and he comes back screaming.

    Just keep trying. It WILL get better the more he has exposure to different people.  At 14 weeks he should also be able to be settled for short periods of time in a bouncy chair or swing so you could put him down for a while and then have a family member come back to get him. Basically, you just need to keep on and he will get used to it.  I know how hard it is to hear your baby upset but the more you do it, the better it will be. Good Luck!
