Pregnant after 35

I'm tired of counting down

I'm really ready to just have my baby already. Tomorrow is my baby shower, and once that's over, I'm hoping she'll just come on her own without induction. I try to look at the fact I'm going to have her a week early but that's just not giving me comfort. LOL! I'm 37 weeks 1 day so I know she's now full term.

To keep myself occupied, I've been assisting a little with my baby shower. I just feel like there's nothing else to do because I'm doing the waiting game. I made a pumpkin fondant cake tonight for the shower and a few diaper cakes for the center pieces. I'm not finish with either.

Anyway the last weeks are just mind boggling. So ready to meet my baby girl and her siblings are too.

  • What a cute cake! Now I want cake LOL.

I know what you mean about getting anxious...with 3 1/2 weeks to my EDD I bounce back and forth between feeling so ready to meet my baby girl and feeling total panic! These final weeks are a trip.

Hang in there mama, you're almost there!!

  • Thanks! I am almost there and so ready. The last weeks seem to be the hardest.

Yes, everyone was floored about the cake. It tasted great! My first time doing a fondant cake.
