Ovarian Cyst

Hi ladies, It has been a painful week. I was in ER for 9 hours in pain. I had an ovarian cyst erupt. Thankfully the baby is ok. They thought it was an ectopic pregnancy at first but blood test and ultrasound confirmed cyst. I was scared but I understand a lot of women have ovarian cyst in early pregnancy. Take care ladies and listen to your body.

I was at the ER about 2 weeks ago with an Ovarian cyst as well. I had never experienced it like that before so I know how you feel.

Cysts are so painful when they burst! I'm glad you and baby are going to be ok!

Over the past 2 years u have had 7 cysts burst. They started out as hemorrhagic cysts and have now caused endometriosis with an endometrioma from all the intrauterine matter in my abdominal cavity. Thus I started fertility treatments to get pregnant with this little baby. I am hoping that the change in hormones will prevent any more ruptures since they always ruptured the first day of my period, which is no more. Are the cysts that are burst hemorrhagic or did they not know?

I went to the ER and was told to follow up with my OB. ER doc said the cyst probably was bleeding out and I have a little spotting since the rupture but just old brown blood. Will call OB tomorrow and schedule appointment. Will keep you posted.
