Hi girls! My baby was born on October 29 via scheduled csection. I literally walked into the hospital smiling and out of the hospital the same way! Gerard Charles was born at 10:56 am. He was 7 lbs. 1 oz. and 18 inches...and, pretty darn perfect! We were team green, but I suspected a boy all along and turns out I was right! He was born at St. Barnabus in West Orange, NJ. I had an AWESOME experience and literally hugged the nurses good-bye.
The real reason I'm posting is because I wanted to give you an idea if you never thought of it. We really wanted this baby to be a surprise... Gender and name, so we didn't tell our families ANYTHING about names. My FIL passed last October and my husband is a jr, but he did tell everyone that we wouldn't be naming the baby after him. I knew that I'd be getting stitched up whole he went to tell them the good news, but I didn't want to miss the moment! So, I had him video it! Well, it was THE BEST IDEA EVER. He walked into the waiting area and made them gather round and then told them. Here's the link to the video! Definitely do it!
Anyway, we're home now and doing really well. Gerard is a joy and I'm well on my way to recovery. And I know I just had him but I can't wait for #2... But shhhh!! Don't tell my husband! Hehehehe
