Ok, the first thing that got me thinking I was pregnant before my bfp was that I was getting up randomly to pee 2 or 3 times a night. Which this is nothing like me. Well I know frequent urination is normal, but mine is getting really bad. Actually, it's been bad. I have started counting and checking the times that I get up to calculate how many times and how often I am getting up at night. I stopped counting at 10 . As I get closer to morning I tend to get up more frequently. But yes, 10 times a night if not more.... And when I am laying in bed is when it gets the worse. More so at night. I can't even relax. I feel like I have to pee so much. Like I just didn't get enough out the last time. Constant pressure on my bladder. I have tried cutting out liquids before bed time, I have even tried cutting down my liquid intake all together. Liquids is just not the issue. It doesn't matter how much I drink, I will still get up every hour to pee. I got a uti screening at my last appointment and I guess since I heard nothing that it came back fine. I talked to my nurse and she had noooooo advice to offer. Anyone else getting up this much? It's getting really annoying.
Re: Frequent urination is way too frequent
Did you all ready do your glucose test? Or you might just have a small bladder and it's really making a difference now.

increased blood flow and uterus growing makes a lot of sense. I push and lean every time i go. It feels like I have a pressure on my bladder. It kind of feels like I have to pee a lot more than I actually do too. It gets worse at night. I find myself getting up within minutes of each other. I apologize for saying you don't know anything
One of the suggestions I've read in my pregnancy books is not to drink water after 6 PM to cut down the overnight bathroom trips. I find that really hard to do but it does work when I can manage it.
this is exactly what I was thinking the whole time. My uterus must be pushing on my bladder. It gets worse is I lay on my back
I used to get UTIs all the time, like at least once a month for a year so here's some info from my personal experience. The first signs I get of a UTI are bladder pressure, urgency and increased frequency. They don't start out painful ( if you know how to recognize the early signs before the pain gets you) but can become extremely painful and get worse the longer you leave it untreated. However, sometimes you can have a low grade UTI with bladder pressure and urgency but no pain. Also the testing for UTI is in two stages. At the doctor's office they dip a stick in your urine that indicates whether there is blood and/or waste products from bacteria. Those are signs of a UTI. But this is a little bit like taking a HPT before your missed period in the sense that if you have a low grade infection or your urine is very dilute the stick test will be negative even though you do have a UTI. This is why they should always send your urine to the lab for a culture as well when testing for UTI. The culture takes 3-4 days. If it grows bacteria you got a UTI, if not you don't. I definitely had a couple UTIs that I caught early with negative dipstick but positive culture. So tell your doctor you're having bladder pressure and urgency and confirm that they did a urine culture, not just the dipstick.
From being a urology nurse I also know that constipation can cause frequent urination like we are having... And I'm having constipation from taking zofran! Ugh! It's never ending. Best of luck to you. I know how frustrating it is getting up so frequently!
I tried the no water after 6 and it HELPED! I still got up at night starting around 3, but I was able to relax in bed and fall asleep without getting up every 5 minutes. Oh sooooo nice
