Dumb rookie question

How the bleep do I add a ticker?  I've been trying and failing for DAYS now.  Help!

    I have no advice, sorry. I haven't tried to add one since the changes. Just wanted to say good luck! (and a bit of a bookmark in case you get an answer and I want to try it later!!). :)

    Right?!?  I used to be a platinum poster on the old bump and I moved to proboards with the masses.  I haven't been on in a long time and EVERYTHING is different.  Better in some ways, but much worse in others.

    I do have the link. When I put it in my "edit avatar" box and save it, it shows up as code.  Thoughts?  Thank you!

    Yeah there are little buttons at the top like where you change font there is on that says insert hyperlink (i think) hover over it. It like the next one to the picture icon. Sorry I'm still mobile and can't look I think it's black square looking

    Is this in the edit avatar/signature area?  Sorry, I'm so lost :/

    I'm mobile too, so I'm going to try and explain as much as I can remember! If you go to the man silhouette in the too right, I think if you hover it's called preferences, then in that screen you'll see something about signature preferences or signature and avatar.

    Ok I got online... from a desktop.. What a pain in the ass... LOL Ok so you have to put it in the little square that looks like a picture.  I think the problem you are having is copying the wrong link.  Are you using lilypie? I had to copy the one from the section 'For Websites' The choose the 'Image URL'  Post that into the one that say says insert image when you hover over it.  It looks green and is next to the icon that looks like a chain. 

     

    See if that works.  If not I will try again.  But I got another ticker to show up.

     

    ETA: Go to the head in the right hand side, and go to signature settings.  That is where you find the little icons...

    And you are not a pain in the ass.. The mobile app is a pain in the ass it won't let you see anything.
