  I have the freestyle and never once used it hands free. In my opinion it all depends on what's more convenient for you. For me, finding the time to pump at all is my biggest challenge.

  You can also just get a handsfree bra that is definitely less than $100

  I have the medela pump in style, found it online at cvs.com for $250 and was reimbursed by my insurance company for it. I also have the simple wishes hands free pumping bra and highly recommend it! Here is the link https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00295MQLU.

  I second the idea of getting a hands free pumping bra. It's hard enough to find time to pump when you're doing a thousand other things and I took my pumping time to do things like pay bills, write thank you cards or just read a book. Having something to do to pass the time really helped and being able to squeeze little projects into that chunk of time made me feel less overwhelmed. If you have insurance I would check with them and see what pump you can get for free and then get that one. If you don't have insurance you may want to check with your local WIC office because it's not too hard to qualify for a free rental of one and they are REALLY good quality pumps. Good luck!

  I have a medela pump in style and a hands free pumping bra that works pretty well. It's provably cheaper than the freestyle.

  Thank you for all your advice!! I think I'll go with the double "on the go" style and buy the bra. I'm so glad I asked!! Oh and unfortunately no insurance for us, we're cash pay and don't qualify for WIC. So that route won't work for us.

  I have the freestyle and pumped for about 13 months for DD1. I used the simple wishes bra all the time...I never held the pump pieces. I would use the bra at work especially so I could still pump and answer emails...or sometimes put my feet up and take a snooze. The bra was wonderful.

  Exactly this. I have the Pump Ease hands free bra, which I've loved. The Simple Wishes one was a little too much for me! But, I agree -- my pump breaks @ work are some of my favorite times. Ever. No one at work can talk to me (except online). No screaming babies. No husband vying for my attention. Just ME time. I think I'm going to EP forever, just for this reason alone.
