Feeling optimistic

Even though AF is getting ready to show any day, I am feeling optimistic for next month! I just met with our RE and I get to start his "cocktail" next month of Femara, Novarel injection & progesterone. I'm feeling really good about November! This is my first time on meds ever but I've heard Femara has less side effects than Clomid. Anybody have experience with Femara?

    Good luck. I just took Femara, and was scared because clomid made me nutso!! Femara was easy breezy for me.

    TTC for 1.5 years with a crappy RE. 12 cycles with clomid (11 too many)
    New RE, 3 failed IUI's moving to IVF with ICSI
    IVF#1 BFP EDD 1/10/13

    Good luck!  I'm glad you're feeling optimistic!  It seems like we've been a pessimistic group recently, so perhaps your optimism will rub off on us. :)  I don't have an experience with Femara but hopefully it will be your magic baby-making potion!

    I am currently on my second cycle of Femara. The only side effects I have experienced are a few headaches and hunger! Good luck!

    Good luck!! I did two rounds of Femara and didn't have many side effects at all. It was easier than Clomid, for sure!
