    Boo hiss for your job schedule Jessie...sorry you don't get more time!  I too get no time off, but treated myself to some days at New Year's and then my boss offered me a bonus or time off at Christmas..I took the time off. 

    So DH and I figured it out, that for the entire rest of the year, I had 3 days off!  That is pathetic.  He had three WEEKS and I had three DAYS!

    Well, I still have a ton of 'prep' for next week left to do. then we are hitting the road Christmas Day.  First to PEI to see my parents, then on the 28th to Antigonish to see DH's family. Then we are back here on the 30th for my next Dr. appointment (I"m thinking there might be a 'little' weight gain! lol)  We have a low key night scheduled for New years.  Mainly just looking forward to visiting lots of friends and relaxing!

    JGM: that's the beauty of being pregnant around the holidays, "noooo doctor I didn't eat way too much turkey and sweets, the baby grew!!" I will for sure, milk that for all its worth!

    Your holidays sounds like fun! I will be off from the 23rd and come back on the 5th, in between we are going home to my mom's house to be with her for the holidays and will stay there almost the entire time, so its going to be so hard core relaxing and eating for us!

    heathercara - hubby's last day is today, boo to him too.  i like my job, but the work hours sometimes suck.  i was supposed to have christmas-monday off, but one of the manager's we're training has a son in the hospital, so i said i didn't need the whole time off.  we can't leave the department unattended, so i don't mind having a shorter vacation.  i am glad i got a few days though.
