    Morning :-)

I slept well!! Went to bed at 8pm woke up at 1am back to bed at 4am woke up at 8am lol used the bathroom every hr but was able to go back to sleep everytime.

Yesterday did some shopping, installed the car seat and placed carriage in car. I am trying to remove some boxes from my apartment. When I got home from shopping I noticed I loss a little more mucus plug. Still no contractions.

Today planning to visit t sister in law. My dh niece who is 9, loves to play with my hair, paint my nails and give me massages. I totally need it lol she does an amazing job being so young. I alway tell her she needs to open a salon when she gets older. She wants to be a model/lawyer/hair stylist :-)

Qotd: I can't really tell dh family not to come and I know my family won't that no for an answer but I am hoping dh friends have common curtesy to wait till we her home but if they do show up I will make sure no one picks her up. FTM paranoia :)

  • @kneenah- yay So exciting for u to be getting all ready!

    I slept good last night!

We plan to let immediate family visit (siblings and parents) although if I deliver early and baby is in nicu we will only let our parents visit the baby in nicu. But it siblings could still come up if they wanted but they would only be able to see pics. I feel like the baby would be very vulnerable and our siblings have a bunch of little ones who are constantly sick and I don't want to risk anything. Don't know how they would take it and I asked my MIL what she thought and she completely supported me. But hopefully I won't have to worry about the nicu!

  • Happy Saturday.  Slept ok last night.

Took my last procardia yesterday afternoon, got my hair done afterwards, and went and bought going home outfits this morning (one for boy and one for girl since we don't know), so I'm in a great mood today!  Of course the little taste of shopping for the first time in 2 months made me just want to do more, but I was good, just went right to the baby section, found the outfits and left- didn't want to overdue it yet.  If I'm still pregnant in 2 weeks though, I'll be jogging through the store instead!

I'll let anyone visit who wants to visit in the hospital- I'm not particular and want to be able to show baby off after 4 years of trying to get to this point!  Hopefully there will be plenty of hand sanitizer around at least!

  • Hi ladies 25 weeks n 6 days today and so far we r hanging in there , this BR thing is really getting to me.
  • Mrssturm: sorry you had a bad day yesterday, it will get better :) your aost off Bedrest :-) enjoy your shower!!

Sft: Isnt it such an amazing feeling finally shopping for YOUR baby :-) I felt like such a mom shopping for my little one. I can't wait to go back to work where I am no longer on a budget so I can go crazy :-)

Roses: yay for good night sleep

    Dolly: BR gets easier!! :-/

(So sorry for all the typos I have, I am mobile user and most of the time do the check in as soon as I wake up and too lazy to proof read. I am sure most of you are use to it and learned to read around it lol)
  • I was up late last night due to taking a nap earlier in the day but when I was asleep it was pretty solid.  Suddenly feeling sleepy again, usually I am not a napper but maybe the third trimester will make me more sleepy during the day.

Nothing new really..I have been able to stave off the contractions and cramping pretty well overall. Getting up to go to the bathroom brings them on..the smallest of movements so I have been even more comatose than usual.

QOTD:  I am guessing that my parents and my husbands parents will be by and then our siblings.  The last time I gave birth it was so unexpected and I didn't notify any friends until I was discharged.  It is almost certain that I will have another preemie, if this is the case then I will probably have friends wait and do the NICU visits a little later on.

  • @Kneenah-yay for pampering!  You've paid your dues :-)
@Roses-Sleep is a wonderful thing on bed rest!
@sftbalbabe-So glad you are up and around and ditched the Procardia!
@mrsstrum-33 weeks!  Sorry you had a bad day, but hoping the shower makes up for it!
@Dollymarie-I feel the same way, hoping there are more "ups" in our future than "downs."  Hang in there!
@JandM-Glad there are no more contractions, whatever it takes to keep them away!

Today was good and bad.  Failed my 3 hour GTT, so I am officially a GD.  Modified diet first, I really hope that works.  On the plus side, my family came over for the day to celebrate my son's 5th birthday.  The kids were so well behaved and entertaining, and it was so nice to spend extended time with them.

QOTD: I think NICU will be the big factor with visitors.  Like everyone else said, probably just parents and our siblings if in the NICU.  If not-the more the merrier!
  • Hi ladies! I slept ok last night. Tonight I have to start wearing the compression booties that go off all night so hopefully they don't bother me. The peri came in to talk to me today and said not to plan on going home anytime soon. He thinks I'll deliver in the next 5-7 days. I'm hoping to hold off until Thursday which will be 30 weeks. Having some contractions today, where I didn't have any yesterday. There is talk about restarting magnesium sulfate, which makes me really sick...... If baby comes soon, she'll be in the nicu for 6ish weeks. We will let my parents and maybe one or two friends come occasionally.

  • Late check in today, but hi ladies!

Slept okay last night.  It's becoming the norm for DD to come climb into my bed at night and I'm starting to worry how that's going to work with breastfeeding a newborn.  I have a bassinet for LO right next to the bed but would like to co-sleep, as well and I know that can't happen with a 2 yo in the bed.

34w3d today.  2 days and I'll be at the G.A. I was at when I delivered DD.  Pretty sure I'll pass that milestone.

Qotd:  I plan to have DH and my mom in the room when I deliver, so they will obviously be there.  My 2 sisters and my dad will visit with my DD and I'm sure MIL will come trolling along with FIL and BIL.  But I am making sure they don't come until I'm ready for visitors (had a shower, got a chance to breastfeed, etc).
