My LO was a monster newborn (9lbs.8oz and 22 inches) which made him about 98th percentile in both.
He has leveled off and is now about 50th percentile in both.
He is 17 months old and is 25 lbs and about 32 inches tall. I find he has a long torso but short legs. He can wear 18-24 month shirts but his pants can't be more than 12 months. Some 9 month pants still fit lol
Both are home measurements and I find height is very hard to take with him haha so will have a better measurement at the end of the month when he has his 18 month appt!
lol! I think our babies were made from the same mold. DD was a 10lb baby, 21 inches. Now she's just average with a longer torso and shorter legs (I'm not sure or exact height and weight currently because she's been too sick to even get her 15 month shots up to date). I wouldn't say she's particularly tall or chunky anymore, she's just average, in the middle of all the kids in her daycare.

omg that's hilarious! The short legs makes buying clothing sets annoying! He has some cute 18 month sets from family but the pants are HUGE on him but the shirts fit. Makes buying clothes pretty difficult.
Yup. I bought her the cutest sweat pant set and I have to roll up the pants all the time. I can pull the cuff almost right up to her knees for them to be the appropriate length. It will be interesting to see how she turns out. In both of our families people are either really tall or really short, not really in between.
I don't have official measurements either but she is about 24-25 lbs. she also has long torso with shorter legs. She wears 24M/2T shirts but 18M pants. She is also tall and skinny so most pants are too baggy but we did recently find some 2T jeans from old navy that fit great! A little long in the leg but easily rolled up.
Uhh...Corbin is about 32 or 33 lbs and maybe around 33". He's not chubby though, and never has been - he's just super solid. DH and I are not bigger people, either - We're both thin, so I don't know why DS is so deceivingly heavy. We're in 2T tops for the most part and 3t pants fit great in the waist but are still long.

Too funny my 3 year old is 32 lbs he's in 3T for everything but his pants have to be elastic or they fall off.
We get official weight and height in two weeks but lo has been in the upper 90s for height and yet 18 m pants are still long. I thought that the clothes were up to the number, so by age he should have surpassed that size. He can wear 3t and 2t shirts, so maybe he is all torso like I am. I do have a question, I know 9m, 12m are up to that age, but is it the same door 2t and 3t? Like is 2t for up to 24 months or from 24-35 months?
Yikes - at her 18 month appt on Tuesday she was 27.5lbs, 33.5" and is in the 98 and 93 percentile respectively! She's def rocking 24 month on most clothes!

Once you hit 12 month clothing it's like 12 is 12-18 months 18 is 18-24 24 is 24-36 BUT 2 t is a whole other thing it's slightly bigger than 24 months normally longer but not much wider! Some kids never wear 24 months go right to 2t some like mine start in 24 then go to 2t but the same as all clothing each brand is different so most of the time they wear 24 and 2t at the same time!
18 month appt last week C was 27.4 lbs and 34 inches tall! She's my tall girl, and has now surpassed her cousin in both height and weight, even though he's 15 months older than she is! Crazy little things.
Dd has her appt on the 26th but I think she has finally hit about 20lbs. She was 18.5 at the beginning of September and she feels heavier. She is in 9-12 mos clothes and some 12 mo but it's big on her. She is petite and short. It will be interesting to see what Ds is like when he comes in April.

Thank you! That makes much more sense now! We just cage back from the doctor and lo weighed 28.5 lbs and is 33 inches tall, do in the 90th percentile for weight but only the 60th for height, which hopefully will continue as dh hates being so tall and thinks his back problems are related to his height. He was hopping ds would be an average of our heights, but I notice often sons are even taller than their dads (depending on the mom of course)
DD had her 18 month appt last week and was 33.75" and 23 lbs 11 oz. it was so exciting because this was her 2nd visit in a row, where the Dr said her weight was good! (She was below average weight for ages.) Did anyone else notice how many tall May babies there are? The babies we know IRL make DD look like a giant!
Emma as of yesterday was 18 lbs 6 oz and 28 inches. She will be 19 months on the 3rd. She is so tiny. She is wearing 12 month everything and still has sz 2 feet. Her 3 month old brother is 4 oz and 2 inches less than her
